Whitton, a parish in Radnorshire, 3¼ miles SW by S of Knighton, and 4 NW of Presteign. It has a post office under Knighton; money order and telegraph office, Knighton. Acreage, 1564; population, 133. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Davids; gross value, £139 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of St Davids. The church is Perpendicular, and was restored in 1874.
