Precelly Mountains, Pembrokeshire

Historical Description

Precelly Mountains, a range of mountains in the NE of Pembrokeshire, extending about 10 miles from E by N to-W by S, culminating in Cwm Cerwyn at an altitude of 1754 feet above sea-level, having two other chief summits-Moel Eryr to the E, Vrenni Vawr to the W, commanding good views, and giving rise to the rivers Cleddau, Nevern, and Gwayn.
