Nolton, Pembrokeshire

Historical Description

Nolton, a parish in Pembrokeshire, on St Bride's Bay, 6 miles W by N of Haverfordwest. It contains the village of Druidston and the harbour of Nolton Haven, and its post town is Haverfordwest. Acreage, 1648; population of the civil parish, 129; of the ecclesiastical, with Boch, 659. An excellent kind of stone abounds on the shore, and is quarried. The living is a rectory, with the vicarage of Roch annexed, in the diocese of St David's; net value, £180 with residence. Patron, the Lord Chancellor.
