Historical Description

Llanthewy Skin-id, a parish in Monmouthshire, under Skirrid-fawr Hill, 3 miles NE of Abergavenny. Post town, Abergavenny. Acreage, 1060; population, 133. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Llandaff; gross value, £223 with residence. The church was rebuilt, with the exception of the tower, in 1828, and restored in 1870.
