Tanybwich, Merionethshire
Historical Description
Tanybwich, a hamlet in Maentwrog parish, Merionethshire, on a hillside, 3 miles W of Festiniog. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office (R.S.O.), and a station on the Festiniog railway. It commands a fine view over the vale of Festiniog. Plas-Tan-y-BwIch, the fine seat of the Oakleys, with beautiful grounds, is adjacent.
