Nolton, Glamorgan

Historical Description

Nolton, a chapelry in Coyty parish, Glamorgan. Nolton is an ancient chapel of ease to the parish church of Coyty. About three-fourths of the town of Bridgend is in the parish of Coyty, and Nolton chapel of ease is in Bridgend. Post town, Bridgend. The present church was built in 1887,. is a fine building in the Early English style, and contains an ancient font removed from the previous church, which is now used for Sunday school and other purposes.
