Moel Arthur, Denbighshire

Historical Description

Moel Arthur, a summit of the Clwydian Hills on the mutual boundary of Denbighshire and Flintshire, 6 miles E of Denbigh. It rises to an altitude of 1491 feet, and is crowned with an ancient British camp defended by two verydeep ditches.
