Rhyddau, Carnarvonshire

Historical Description

Rhyddau, a place in Carnarvonshire, 3½ miles from the summit of Snowdon. It has a station (now called Snowdon) on the North Wales Narrow Gauge railway, and a post, money order, and telegraph office under Carnarvon. It is the shortest route for the ascent of Snowdon.
