The Gwilly or Gwili, Carmarthenshire

Historical Description

Gwilly or Gwili, The, a river of Carmarthenshire. It rises near the boundary with Cardiganshire, and runs southward to the Towy at Abergwilly, 1½ mile NE of Carmarthen. It has a rapid current, and is overlooked by some fine scenery.
