The Rheidol, Cardiganshire

Historical Description

Rheidol, The, a river of Cardiganshire, rising on the NW side of Plinlimmon, running 3½ miles west-south-westward on the boundary with Montgomeryshire, proceeding 7 miles southward to Devil's Bridge, receiving there the tribute of the Mynach, and going thence 11 miles westward to the sea at Aberystwyth.
