Historical Description

Eglwys Oen Duw, an ecclesiastical parish in Breconshire, formed in 1874 out of the parishes of Llanafanfawr, Llan-fihangel, Abergwessin, Llangammarch, and Llanlleonfel. Population, 547. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St David's; gross value, £250. The church is near Beulah village, 5 miles NE of Llanwrtyd, and was erected in 1866.
