Dinas Castle, Breconshire

Historical Description

Dinas Castle, an ancient stronghold, 3 miles SE by S of of Talgarth in Breconshire. It stood on a hill under Pen-Cader-Fawr, was built about the time of Edward I., and destroyed in the time of Owen Glendower, and is now reduced to a mere outline, with traces of a curious excavated well.
