Anglesey Marriages

1538 - 1920

This collection contains transcripts of the marriage registers for many parishes in the Welsh county of Anglesey, from their commencement up to 1920.

It is important to note, when searching, that some of the parishes use the Patronymic naming system. So, the marriage of Elizabeth Jones may show the father as being John Williams, as an example, or Elizabeth Williams might show the father as William Jones, as another. This does not necessarily indicate illegitimacy as in English registers.
