Linsheeles

LINSHEELES, a township, in the parish of Hallystone, union of Rothbury, W. division of Coquetdale ward, N. division of Northumberland, 11ΒΌ miles (W. by N.) from Rothbury; containing 98 inhabitants. It is situated on the south side of the river Coquet, at the confluence of the Redlees burn, and about a mile and a half west from Alwinton.
