GERRARDS-CROSS, a posting-village, in the parish of Chalfont St. Peter, union of Amersham, hundred of Burnham, county of Buckingham, 3ΒΌ miles (E. by S.) from Beaconsfield. This place is situated on the road between Uxbridge and Beaconsfield; and in its immediate vicinity is Bulstrode Park, a seat of the Duke of Portland's.
