Dilton
DILTON, a chapelry, in the parish and hundred of Westbury, union of Westbury and Whorwelsdown, Westbury and S. divisions, and Trowbridge and Bradford subdivisions, of Wilts, 2ΒΌ miles (S. S. W.) from Westbury; containing 1848 inhabitants. The chapel is dedicated to St. Mary. There is a fair for cattle, horses, and cheese, on September 24th.
