Chicklade (All Saints)
CHICKLADE (All Saints), a parish, in the union of Tisbury, hundred of Dunworth, Hindon and S. divisions of Wilts, 1 mile (N.) from Hindon; containing 109 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, valued in the king's books at £11. 5. 3., and in the patronage of the Marquess of Bath: the tithes have been commuted for £193, and the glebe comprises 33½ acres. The church has been rebuilt.
