Newton-Tracey (St. Thomas à Becket)
NEWTON-TRACEY (St. Thomas Ã Becket), a parish, in the union of Barnstaple, hundred of Freemington, Braunton and N. divisions of Devon, 4Â½ miles (S. S. W.) from the town of Barnstaple; containing 125 inhabitants, and comprising about 350 acres. The living is a discharged rectory, valued in the king's books at Â£5. 8. 1Â½., and in the patronage of the Crown; net income, Â£67. The glebe comprises 36 acres.
