Fradley

Fradley is a township-chapelry in the parish of Alrewas. In 1871 the population was 409, and the number of houses 101, the real property is valued at £3086, £25 being in fisheries. The church was erected in 1861, and the living is a perpetual curacy annexed to the vicarage of Alrewas. The ancient hall formerly belonged to the Gilberts of Woodford, in Essex, and passed in marriage to William Goring. The country around Fradley is very beautiful.
