Tolpuddle

TOLPUDDLE, a village 7 miles N.E. from Dorchester. The church is ancient, and, a few years since, was repaired and improved; the living is a vicarage. Here is a small Wesleyan chapel. The parish contained, in 1841, 363 inhabitants.
