Piddlehinton

PIDDLEHINTON, a viilage 5 miles N. from Dorchester, and 5 S.E. from Cerne. The church (St. Mary), is an ancient structure having an embattled tower. Living a rectory in the gift of Eton College. The parish comprises 2,780 acres, and had in 1841, a population of 394.
