LYDLINCH, a village 3 miles S.W. from Sturminster-Newton, The church (St. Thomas-a-Becket) is a small but neat structure, and has recently undergone considerable repairs. The living is a rectory. The parish comprises 2446 acres and had in 1841 a population of 409.
