BIDDENHAM is a pleasant village and parish, almost surrounded by the river Ouse, 2 miles west from Bedford, and 8 north from Ampthill, in the Northern division of the county, hundred of Willey, petty sessional division, union and county court district of Bedford, rural deanery and Bedford archdeaconry and St. Albans diocese.
