Apethorpe
Apethorpe, formerly a chapelry to Nassington, is now a parish, 2 miles east from King's Cliffe station on the Peterborough and Rugby section of the London and North Western railway and 6 north from Oundle, in the Northern division of the county, Willybrook hundred, Oundle petty sessional division and union, Thrapston and Oundle county court district, rural deanery of Oundle (second portion), archdeaconry of Oakham and diocese of Peterborough. A tributary of the Nene forms the eastern boundary of the parish.
