Wraxall (or Wroxhall) is a parish and small village, 7 miles south-east from Beaminster and 11 north from Dorchester; the nearest railway stations are Evershot, 4 miles, and Maiden Newton, 2½ miles, on the Weymouth branch of the Great Western railway, in the Western division of the county, Bridport petty sessional division and county court district, hundred of Eggerton, Beaminster union, rural deanery of Bridport (Bridport portion), archdeaconry of Dorset and diocese of Salisbury.
