Barrow-Upon-Trent

Barrow-upon-Trent is a parish and township, near the Grand Trunk Canal and river Trent, 2 miles west from Chellaston station on the Midland railway, 3 east from Willington station on the Midland railway, and 5¾ south from Derby, and 132 from London, in the Southern division of the county, partly in the hundred of Appletree and partly in that of Morleston and Litchurch, union of Shardlow, Derby petty sessional division and county court district, rural deanery of Melbourne, archdeaconry of Derby, and diocese of Southwell.
