West Hendred

West Hendred is a parish in the Northern division of the county, hundred, petty sessional division, union and county court district of Wantage, rural deanery of Wantage, archdeaconry of Berks and diocese of Oxford, about 3½ miles east from Wantage and intersected by a stream which falls into the Thames near Monkey Island.
