Sandhurst is a village and parish, separated from Hampshire by the river Blackwater, a mile and a half from the Wellington College station on the Reading and Reigate branch of the South Eastern and Chatham railway, with a halt on the same branch, 4½ south-east from Wokingham, 11¾ from Reading and 40 from London, in the Eastern division of the county, hundred of Sonning, petty sessional division of Wokingham, union of Easthampstead, county court district of Reading, rural deanery of Sonning, archdeaconry of Berks and diocese of Oxford.
