Buckland

Buckland is a pleasant village and parish near the road from Faringdon to Abingdon and extending to Oxfordshire, from which it is separated by the Isis, 3¾ miles north-east from Faringdon, 10 west from Abingdon and 14 from Oxford, in the Northern division of the county, hundred of Ganfield, petty sessional division, union and county court district of Faringdon, rural deanery of the Vale of White Horse, archdeaconry of Berks and diocese of Oxford.
