Willitoft

WILLITOFT, a township, in the parish of Bubwith, union of Howden, Holme-Beacon division of the wapentake of Harthill, E. riding of York, 5ΒΌ miles (N.) from Howden; containing 53 inhabitants. This place was formerly the residence of the Vavasour family; it is now the property of Colonel Wyndham, who is lord of the manor.
