Widdington

WIDDINGTON, a township, in the parish of Little Ouseburn, Upper division of the wapentake of Claro, W. riding of York, 8ΒΌ miles (S. E. by E.) from Boroughbridge; containing 25 inhabitants. It is situated on the river Ouse, which passes on the north and east; and comprises 694 acres of land, in four farms.
