Neen-Sollars (All Saints)

NEEN-SOLLARS (All Saints), a parish, in the union of Cleobury-Mortimer, hundred of Overs, S. division of Salop, 3¼ miles (S. by W.) from Cleobury-Mortimer; containing 190 inhabitants. The small river Rea and the Kingston canal run through the parish. The living is a rectory, with that of Milson annexed, valued in the king's books at £13. 9. 9½., and in the gift of Worcester College, Oxford: the tithes have been commuted for £273, and the glebe comprises 52 acres. The church contains a monument to the memory of Humphrey Conyngsby, an accomplished scholar and great traveller, born about 1567.
