Lilstock (St. Andrew)
LILSTOCK (St. Andrew), a parish, in the union of Williton, hundred of Williton and Freemanners, W. division of Somerset, 11ΒΌ miles (N. W.) from Bridgwater; containing 48 inhabitants. The parish is bounded on the north by Bridgwater bay in the Bristol Channel; and contains limestone of excellent quality for building, which is extensively quarried. The living is annexed to the vicarage of Stogursey: the tithes were commuted for land in 1803.
