LEIGH, a tything, in the parish of Wimborne-Minster, union of Wimborne and Cranborne, hundred of Badbury, Wimborne division of the county of Dorset, 1 mile (E.) from Wimborne-Minster; containing 574 inhabitants. Here was anciently a chapel.
