Leap

LEAP, a tything, in the chapelry of Exbury, parish of Fawley, union of New-Forest, hundred of Bishop's-Waltham, Southampton and S. divisions of the county of Southampton, 11ΒΌ miles (E. by N.) from Lymington. The village is nearly opposite to the town of Cowes, in the Isle of Wight.
