Holwell

HOLWELL, a chapelry, in the parish of Ab-Kettleby, union of Melton-Mowbray, hundred of Framland, N. division of the county of Leicester, 3ΒΌ miles (N. N. W.) from Melton-Mowbray; containing 156 inhabitants. The chapel is dedicated to St. Leonard. There is a chalybeate spring in the neighbourhood.
