Habton, Great

HABTON, GREAT, a township, in the parish of Kirkby-Misperton, union of Malton, Pickering lythe, N. riding of York, 5ΒΌ miles (N. W. by N.) from Malton; containing 156 inhabitants. It is situated north of the river Rye, and comprises about 990 acres of land. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans.
