Dillington

DILLINGTON, a hamlet, in the parish of East Dereham, union of Mitford and Launditch, hundred of Launditch, W. division of Norfolk, 2ΒΌ miles (N. N. W.) from East Dereham; containing 40 inhabitants. The house of industry for the hundred, a large edifice of red brick, surrounding a quadrangle, with a lofty square tower at each corner, is situated in the hamlet.
