CORFE, a parish, in the union of Taunton, hundred of Taunton and Taunton-Dean, W. division of Somerset, 3 miles (S.) from Taunton; containing 279 inhabitants. It comprises 1127 acres of land, whereof 348 are common or waste. Stone is quarried, to be burnt into lime.
