Braithwaite

BRAITHWAITE, a hamlet, in the parish of Kirk-Bramwith, union of Doncaster, Upper division of the wapentake of Osgoldcross, W. riding of York, 3½ miles (W. by S.) from Thorne; containing 107 inhabitants. It is on the north bank of the river Don, and nearly a mile from the village of Kirk-Bramwith.
