Bradfield St. Clare

BRADFIELD ST. CLARE, a parish, in the union of Thingoe, hundred of Thedwastry, W. division of Suffolk, 6 miles (S. E. by S.) from Bury St. Edmund's; containing 240 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, valued in the king's books at £7. 4. 7.; patron, the Rev. Robert Davers: the tithes have been commuted for £272. 15., and there are 29 acres of glebe.
