Historical Description

BALLINAVOREN, a hamlet, partly in the parish of ARDAGH, barony of MORGALLION, and partly in that of DRUMCONDRA, barony of LOWER SLANE, county of MEATH, and province of LEINSTER, 4 miles (N.) from Nobber; containing 14 houses and 88 inhabitants. Here is a plain R. C. chapel, which it is in contemplation to rebuild.
