Historical Description
Cracoe, a township in Rilstone parish, W.R. Yorkshire, 5½ miles N by W of Skipton. It has a post and telegraph office under Skipton; money order office, Grassington. Acreage, 2134; population, 91. The Duke of Devonshire is lord of the manor and one of the chief landowners. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
