Historical Description
Hampton, Nether, a parish in Wilts, 1 mile S of Wilton station on the G.W.R. Post town, Wilton, under Salisbury; money order and telegraph office, Wilton. Acreage, 778; population, 163. The manor belongs to the Earl of Pembroke. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to the rectory of Wilton, in the diocese of Salisbury. The church was restored in 1877.
