Wordwell, Suffolk

Historical Description

Wordwell, a parish in Suffolk, 5½ miles NNW of Bury St Edmunds station on the G.E.R. Post town, Bury St Edmunds. Acreage, 2310; population of the civil parish, 45; of the ecclesiastical with Stow West, 238. The living is a rectory, annexed to West Stow. The church is a small building of flint and stone in the Early English style.
