Thwaite or Thwaite St George, a parish in Suffolk, 3½ miles E by S of Finningham station on the G.E.R., and 4½ SSW of Eye. It has a post office under Eye; money order office, Mendlesham; telegraph office, Finningham. Acreage, 833; population, 122. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £125 with residence. The church is a small structure of flint in the Gothic style.
