Historical Description

Ilketshall St Lawrence, a village and a parish in Suffolk, 2¾ miles SE by S of Bungay station on the G.E.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Bnngay. Acreage, 1180; population, 247. The living is a vicarage, annexed to Ilketshall St John, in the diocese of Norwich. The church, which is a small building of rubble and flint in the Decorated style, was restored in 1875.
