Holton St Mary, a village and a parish in Suffolk, 2½ miles S of Raydon station on the G.E.R., and 4½ SSE from Hadleigh. Post town, Stratford St Mary, under Colchester; money order office, Raydon; telegraph office, East Bergholt. Acreage, 848; population, 176. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £200 with residence. The church is Early English, has a tower, and is good.
