Oldcott, Staffordshire

Historical Description

Oldcott, a township in Wolstanton parish, Staffordshire, 1½ mile N of Tunstall. It contains the village of Golden Hill, and is included in the ecclesiastical parish of that name. Coal and iron ore are worked, and there are chemical works. See GOLDEN HILL.
