Hollington, Staffordshire
Historical Description
Hollington, a village and a chapelry in Checkley parish, Staffordshire, 4 miles SE of Cheadle, and 3 S of Alton. There is a post office under Stafford; money order and telegraph office, Alton. Excellent building-stone is quarried. The church was built in 1861 in the Early English style. There are Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist chapels.
